Ray knows his flooring and carpets. We had several rooms with replacement wood flooring and new carpeting in the master bedroom. The work was excellent. If your job is a big one, be prepared for a long day. The flooring crew arrived at 8am and didn't leave until 10pm. I'd definitely use these folks again.

I have dealt with many vendors in my 77 years and Ray was extremely professional and stays in communication with you all the way through the entire project. His attention to the details of my preferences was noteworthy. His price was the most reasonable of the 3 vendors I interviewed and the attention to detail and top notch workmanship was the best. The staff of 4 people who performed the installation was extremely easy to deal with and delivered the best quality installation anyone could ask for. Overall, you can not do better than Ray and his installation crew!

Just prior to the pandemic, we met with Ray at Floors & Kitchens to discuss replacing our old basement carpeting with new luxury vinyl. It was more than a year later - July - before the installer, Alex, and his helper were able to complete the work. Ray was always pleasant and helpful throughout that time and did not pressure us to go ahead with the work before we were comfortable having workman in the house, which we really appreciated. Alex and his assistant completed the work within a day and did a fine job with a challenging subfloor. Alex alerted us to the (not unexpected) issues with the subfloor and worked with us and Ray to arrive at an amenable solution. Alex was quiet and focused on the job at hand and in doing it well.

I bought a large amount of Cortec LVP flooring from Ray to refloor our entire basement. Ray gave me excellent advice and the best price per box I could find anywhere. In the end, we decided to do the installation ourselves and are glad we did since Cortec is so forgiving and easy to work with. If I had a question, I'd just call Ray. Our young children are now expert installers. Ray never tried to upsell and sold us everything we needed, including the shoe molding -- again at a good price. As noted by others, Ray is straight forward and a pleasure to work with.

Ray and his team installed new hardwood floors in our kitchen. This also included removing the old tile floor, They also refinished all the floors across two levels. We are extremely pleased with the results. They did a fantastic job. The crew was very professional and did a great job finishing the work on time, which was challenging given that they had to do it in sections because we were living in the house. I highly recommend to any one looking to install new floor or make their floors look brand new.

My project was replacing the carpeting in the entire basement with luxury vinyl planks. When I visited Floors & Kitchen, the store had a great vibe and great selection at various price points. Ray Z. assisted me with my project. He was amazing to work with! He was friendly, sincere, and committed to making sure I was happy with the outcome of my project. Throughout the project he kept me updated on the timeline and followed up after the project was completed to make sure I was satisfied with the installation and flooring. Ray's installers were on-time, considerate, neat, pleasant, and most importantly - they did a beautiful job installing our flooring. Top-notch experience from start to finish! Customer service, craftsmanship, communication, and pricing - excellent in all areas! I will be using Floors & Kitchen again for my upcoming projects!

Ray and his installers provided exceptional service. He provided advice on the alternatives of flooring to save money without compromising the quality. I must have met with several flooring companies which all of them were higher cost for the same product and areas to be covered. Floors offer a variety of products, very sharp pricing and above all high quality workmanship. I recommend them to anyone who wants quality floors at the absolute best price.

Ray and Floors and was easy to work with. We had been talking with him about our kitchen but were leaning towards another vendor when our water heater leaked and we were now also facing replacing all the flooring on our first floor. Based on the reviews we had read and the very specific material selections we wanted to make from a variety of vendors (recycled glass countertops, specific hardwood/floor & backsplash tiles that weren't in the showroom) and Ray was able to handle all of them. Once work started, the whole process was done in about 2 1/2 weeks--including replacing all the floors on the first floor, patching a lot of dry wall, replacing all the cabinets/counters/backsplash/appliances in the kitchen. I would recommend them but there are 2 areas that I think would have made it a better experience: 1) Planning for the the process itself. I had no idea what the schedule would be and what would be happening when even while the renovation was going on. Luckily my work had switched to work-from-home and I was around to answer questions that frequently came up onsite. 2) The order the work was done left a little to be desired. The main floor was replaced before all the kitchen work was done and as a result, there are some scratches from appliances being moved around. The kitchen wasn't patched/primed before cabinets went up so cabinet doors had to be removed to do drywall patching, a cabinet had to be taken down and put back up to install floating shelves. Finally (and this is mostly my fault for not checking reviews), I'm not thrilled with the quality of the cabinets we received. They look nice but with a small kitchen, I would have preferred to spend slightly more to get some really top grade cabinets and these just feel cheap to me. That being said, Ray was very accommodating and worked quickly to address our concerns and overall we think the project turned out looking great and was totally done in a short time frame.

Ray with Floors and Kitchen was an absolute pleasure to work with throughout our home improvement project. His communication and professionalism was top notch. After receiving 3 estimates Ray seemed to be the most knowledgeable and had a highly competitive price. Our 1953 cape cod has been transformed with our beautiful new white oak floors. We chose to move all of the furniture out and install new hardwood with stain and we are so happy with the final product. Our upstairs is something we will be proud of for many years to come. It's a well run store. Nice showroom, and a lot of samples to choose from. Ray gave us good ideas and helped to pick the right flooring. They remove old carpet and installed hardwood in our bedrooms. Looks Great! Overall extremely happy especially with the cost price!

Ray was very pleasant, knowledgable, and easy to work with. Even though it was only a small job to re-do the hardwood floors on my main floor bathroom due to the floor damage from a water leak from the wax seal beneath the toilet, he promptly came out to my home to evaluate which flooring was needed. Both Alex and Leonel were pleasant, skilled, and did a very nice job on re-doing my bathroom floor. Highly recommend this company.

Spectacular hardwood floors and flawless installation thanks to Floors and Kitchen Inc. Ray Manesh is a superb project manager and the owner. I first met with Ray in the store and later in my home for an estimate. He expertly guided me in my selection of solid hardwood flooring and made sure that I had the proper subflooring for it. This job was especially messy, as there was cracking and crumbling gypcrete underneath the existing carpet and pad, all of which had to be removed, bagged and disposed of by them. In addition, I have a lot of heavy furniture, all of which they moved around inside my home to make the installation possible. The installation team led by Alex and including Dennis, Rudis, and William was extraordinary. I cannot rate them high enough.

We absolutely love the floor! In the end everyone in the family was pleased which is not an easy accomplishment. Mom just absolutely love, loves the floors. We had the old carpet taken up and the floors refinished in 3 bedrooms, hallway, living & dining rooms, steps and entryway foyer. We had them do a natural finish. Since they use oil based poly which is a slightly darker hue than the acrylic. Usually only 2 coats are required, but we decided on the extra coat to give is a smoother look that we liked. After that work was completed we had them install a carpet runner on the stairs along with a made to fit matching rug in the foyer. All of the work was completed promptly and professionally. The final results are just breath taking. There were not financial surprises. The company was flexible to our changing desires and all pricing was either market price or below. In other words we got a great deal. Ray's guys do great work. We especially enjoyed Herbert and his crew. They were very accommodating and came back to make sure everything was done right. I would definitely recommend them and we plan to use them again for other projects in the future.

We had our two-layer, vinyl, kitchen floor and ugly carpeted Florida room floor replaced with engineered hardwood. They are both beautiful now! It's hard to believe the transformation of before and after. The owner worked tirelessly with us to answer all our questions and to find the type and color of flooring to closely match other floors in our home. The crew doing the install were skilled in all aspects of the work and finished up in a single full day just before dark. We highly recommend this company for doing a great job.

Ray responded immediately to assist with a refrigerator hose leak and sent his plumber out that evening to fix it. His crew replaced the damaged flooring underneath right after. Everything was done carefully and for an excellent price. Responsiveness is tops. I appreciated the quick action.

Scope of work was refinishing original oak floors and staircase on entire upper level of our older home, 3 rooms, hallway and staircase with landing, including 3 large closets, 2 of which were walk in size. One room was heart pine, and I was disappointed it was not able to be matched exactly with the oak floor stain, but all floors looked beautiful. Work was done on time and as promised. Cleanup was good, but there was dust dust on surfaces such as light fixtures, kitchen counter tops, etc.. There was also some dust outside on the front porch and steps and a few splatters of stain on walls in several places. Nothing unexpected when refinishing such a large area of hardwood flooring. Communication was good throughout and work was done on time and as promised. I received 4 estimates, $1,000 highest to lowest, but most were within a few hundred dollars of each other. This estimate was in the middle. I would definitely hire this company again.

Our job was rather small - vinyl tiles in the kitchen and a carpet runner to the basement, but Ray gave us his full attention and great service from the start. Both crews arrived as scheduled and did their work quickly and very well. The price was reasonable, and my wife and I are extremely satisfied with the results. We would use them again in a heartbeat.

Quality Kitchen Remodeling! Floors & Kitchen in Sterling, VA completely remodeled our 1990s-vintage kitchen, including tearing out poorly designed pantries and re-positioning the appliances to provide a better cooking workflow. We had a pleasant, professional, and flawless experience from start to finish. The second-best part was that Ray's crew started on time and finished within the three-week schedule - amazing! This was a massive job - starting with knocking out walls to open up the kitchen and enlarge storage space, removing false fronts at the ceiling to allow ceiling height cabinets, and shifting appliances to provide a more natural workflow for cooking. Then sanding, priming, and painting the walls and trim and refinishing the hardwood floor. A total kitchen makeover. Ray worked with us patiently and provided objective guidance as we selected our cabinets, countertops, and all of the bright-work. He developed design plans where we could see different attributes of the cabinets and changes to the workflow - and made changes in real time. Ray was also quick to point out the advantages and disadvantages of different cabinet manufacturers and countertop components. From the outside, Floors & Kitchens looks small, but Ray has a wide variety of kitchen cabinets and flooring, and can get products from anywhere. I would not go anywhere else for ultra-high quality kitchen remodeling and re-design. I paid a very reasonable price for truly top-notch work - and that's a combination that is hard to find anywhere.

This was a pleasant, professional, and flawless experience from start to finish. We had carpet taken out and hardwood installed in three bedrooms of our home. The store has an inventory of quality floor solutions and Ray is a great advisor in regards to cost, square footage needed (he came and took measurements), and installation. Pricing was good. The installation job was big and messy but you'd never know it looking at our home. Everything was done with quality and expertise.

These guys are professionals. Unlike big box stores they know their stuff. We had them replace bedrooms carpet to matching hardwood on our main level. Also they remodeled our kitchen with white cabinets, grey quartz and wood look porcelain tiles. Unbelievable quality of workmanship, quick scheduling and installation with extrem neatness. Their price was the best from 3 quotes we got. Planning to do our basement floors with the LVP on special in March.

I would highly recommend Ray Ziamanesh with Floors & Kitchen! VERY easy discussion, selection, and install. The most difficult part of the entire process was picking out my granite. Other than that, super smooth process and with lightning speed! The installers were magnificent and truly did a superb job. Installation of oak flooring in a bedroom and carpet runner on stairs was superbly done, and priced competitively. These guys are amazing. I have used them to replace all the flooring and completely renovate the kitchen in two different houses. The owner, Ray, is personally involved in every project. He has a unique selection of hardwood, carpet, tile, and cabinets that you won't find at the big box stores. Ray is incredibly customer service oriented, and unlike most other contractors, actually finishes the project and does what he says he will do, when he says he will do it. I would highly recommend Decor Floor & Kitchen. In fact, I plan to use them again soon to redo all of our bathrooms. By far the best experience I have ever had with a contractor of any kind.

I highly recommend Decor Floor and Kitchen. I recently purchased hardwood floors and had them installed in my home. I was so impressed with the quality service received from the owner Ray, who was very courteous, professional and accommodating when it came to delaying the installation. The installers arrived on time and cleaned up after completing the job.
